Choi's Package is an unique periodical that showcases cutting-edge creativity from the top design and branding offices around the world. Each volume documents more than 250 package cases of different industries such as Alcohol, Book&Media, Food, Fashion and Health&Beauty.
Squat Design is happy to announce of their FOLIO's 2012 Eddie and Ozzie Awards silver award win in the category of Best Redesign in the Consumer category. It was an extreme honor to have have been competing within the same category with such powerhouse contenders like Harper's Bazaar and Travel+Leisure who won gold and bronze respectively. Other than acquiring the physical Gold Graphis award, Squat Design was featured in the 100 Best in Advertising 2012 Graphis Advertising Annual which features the best campaigns of the year amongst thousands of international entries world wide. It is also available for sale now.
Squat Design developed an extremely successful advertising campaign for Aroma Espresso Bar, an international espresso bar chain serving home-roasted coffee and a fresh, innovative menu.
With a relatively new product, Squat Design helped push Aroma’s new frozen yogurt product by creating characters to personify each of the six fruit toppings to provide a more personable feel for customers.
Thanks to Squat Design’s campaign, Aroma increased sales in just one week. Stores across the city from the Upper West Side to Soho to Midtown Manhattan have enjoyed and benefitted from an increase in foot traffic and raised product awareness, making this Squat Design’s most successful campaign to date.
In 2012, Squat Design has been honored with the Gold Graphis Award in the 100 Best in Advertising of 2012 for our successful Keller Williams campaign. To help Keller Williams create a corporate identity for the New York market while remaining true to the franchisor's existing Texan-styled brand, Squat Design created the bridge that transformed the branding from a Texas-identified company into one with a New York City feel.
Graphis, The International Journal of Visual Communication, annually awards and honors professionals for outstanding work in Design, Advertising and Photography. Among the thousands of submissions, the Graphis jury selects the most compelling work of the year in each category. Selected artists are featured in the hardback Annuals and awarded the Graphis Gold and Platinum awards.
Squat Design was honored to have our WeWork project be featured on the front page of the Behance website. In under a week, the page has garnered over 40,000+ views and multiple comments and encouragement for fans and designers alike.
Squat Design developed a consistent and flexible brand system for WeWork for their buildings and corporate entity as WeWork continued to expand in new locations. As a result, the brand system is edgy, energetic and cool, which reflected the attributes of the target market.
